I bought into the hype and pre-ordered it. With this I regret the money spent on this book. So, I purchased and read all of her previous best sellers. I believed that I could read her books, understand my experience better, and shake off some of the traits she identified as the ones getting in the way of living a "whole-hearted" life. Until now, I bought into Brene Brown's self-improvement formula. I'm disappointed in the book and I agree with the critical reviews here on GoodReads and on Amazon.
